They work with an impressive well-known client list and produce incredible craft across social media, advertising & branding.

With the support of an assistant, you will run the day to day finances of the agency with the support of an external CFO should you ever need some advice or guidance.

This is a hands on role, so you must enjoy being involved in granular finance.You will guide the teams on commercial aspects such as reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients and ensuring the project management team don’t get carried away when it comes to budgeting.

They do a lot of work within the Sports space so a general interest in sport will be beneficial but not a must!

The role:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end financial operations, management accounting, financial reporting & compliance
  • Produce accurate month end accounts
  • Provide commercial and strategic insights to the senior leadership team
  • Partner with client leads to ensure project profitability
  • Review client contracts and negotiate where needed
  • Oversee the accounts payable & receivable function
  • Manage a junior accountant, providing guidance and training and conducting appraisals
  • Revenue reconciliations
  • Review monthly payroll
  • Banking & working capital management
  • Managing cashflow
  • Forecasting & budgeting
  • Financial analysis and providing commentary
  • Stat accounting/ Vat returns

The person:

  • Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Ambitious
  • Hands on attitude
  • Experience working in a creative environment ideally
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have experience producing management accounts
  • Strong excel skills
  • Tech savvy, experience using various accounting software’s
