Are you a proactive and commercially astute Financial Controller looking to make a real impact in a dynamic, high-growth consumer business?
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced retail and e-commerce brand, operating across multiple marketplaces and international markets. The business has scaled rapidly and is now looking for a talented finance leader to take ownership of financial controls, reporting, and business partnering to drive efficiency and insight.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the month-end close process – ensuring timely and accurate consolidated reporting with full balance sheet reconciliations.
- Deliver high-quality financial analysis – including P&L reporting, gross margin analysis, and cashflow forecasting.
- Own financial controls & ERP improvements – working to enhance systems, automate processes, and drive efficiency.
- Support business growth – partnering with senior stakeholders across departments to provide commercial insights and ensure strong financial governance.
- Manage audit processes – from planning through to financial statement preparation and compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods experience is essential.
- Proven experience at Financial Controller level (or similar), reporting into a seasoned Finance Director.
- Strong technical accounting skills with a track record of improving financial controls and ERP systems.
- Ability to business partner across teams and influence decision-making at senior levels.
- Experience in fast-close environments and managing complex inventory/stock reporting is highly desirable.
