Financial Controller

Location: Kilburn High Road, North West London

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000

We're seeking a dynamic Financial Controller to join our client, a leading creative company in the luxury fashion media industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the back-office function and potentially progress into a Finance Director position in an acquisitive, growing business.

As Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Preparing and analysing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Providing financial insights and recommendations to the senior management team
• Managing cash flow and treasury functions
• Implementing and maintaining robust internal controls and financial processes
• Driving the annual budgeting and planning process
• Conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
• Managing the finance team and fostering their professional development
• Implementing and optimizing financial systems and technologies
• Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Supporting M&A activities with financial due diligence and integration planning

We're looking for:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualiffie dby experience with great commercial finance experience
• Experience in the fashion, media, luxury, or events industry is advantageous
• Proficiency in financial analysis and advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software
• An innovative thinker who can bring fresh perspectives to finance
• Someone comfortable in a fast-paced, in-office environment
• A collaborative professional able to work effectively with creative teams
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
