Elevation Senior Finance are excited to work exclusively with a key client of ours as they look to recruit an Financial Controller to join their Finance Team based in London.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include: 

  • Ensuring that the statutory accounts for entities are prepared, reviewed, authorised correctly
  • Running the annual audit
  • Dealing with clients overseas tax, corporation tax and VAT
  • Ensuring Management Accounts are prepared as accurately as possible and in a timely manner
  • Preparing monthly cash balance reports and spending reports
  • Ensuring weekly payment runs for outstanding invoices are authorised and processed
  • Reviewing bank accounts and arranging transfers when needed
  • Posting and payment of Purchase Invoices
  • Ensuring the accounting records for all entities are updated and accurate

Qualifications & Skills required:

  • Newly qualified - ACA/ACCA preferred
  • Experience dealing with confidential projects and clients 
  • Proficient using Excel
  • Experience in Xero is desirable
  • Strong tax knowledge is desirable
