This US parented Real Estate group, with a spectacular growth trajectory, is looking to appoint a European Controller to lead all aspects of finance in the EMEA region. Based in London and reporting to senior leadership stateside, this role will ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual consolidations are managed effectively, as well as supporting periodic budgeting and forecasting processes. The ability to communicate complex financial information to non financial stakeholders is essential, and a commercial mindset is imperative. This role will be the finance touchpoint for the EMEA business, and must be able to offer strategic and commercial insight, based upon a sound grasp of financials. The ideal candidate will be Big 4 qualified, with experience in the real estate space. A very clear grasp of tax concepts is really important, and someone who has trained in tax is encouraged to apply as well. There is a small team that will support with day to day finance operations, but this high growth group does require a willingness to 'get hands dirty'. A base salary of circa £140-170,000 + bonus and benefits is on offer, as well the opportunity to support a group that is likely to become market leader in its sector over the next five years.
