As the successful candidate you will be ACA qualified and have at least 2 years industry experience. You will be the hands on technical and able to lead a small team. You will be have solid business partnering experience and will be interested in all the intricacies that make a business run. Other key responsibilities include;
 Compliance: ongoing oversight as to compliance with financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
 Month-end process: overseeing a tight and efficient monthly financial close and management reporting process for the relevant entities (including Balance Sheet reconciliation, KPI analysis and commentary reviews)
 Group consolidation: provide leadership on the Group consolidation process under IFRS, including preparation of consolidated management accounts for Head of Finance and CFO reviews
 Technical accounting: Work closely with the Head of Finance on preparing any necessary technical accounting papers and supporting workings for presentation and review both internally and externally (e.g. with auditors)
 Audit / statutory accounts: Playing a lead role in liaising with the group auditors and supporting preparation of the financial accounts under IFRS
 Process optimisation: Playing an important role in continual refinement and streamlining of financial policies, procedures and internal controls that can be implemented across the Group
 Business partnering: Active support for Budget control and business partnering with the wider (non-Finance) organisation to prepare relevant analysis to drive insight and support optimal decision-making
