We are looking for a Qualified Accountant with managerial experience, to join a Large Advertising Agency, who are a subsidiary of one of the Big 4 in the Advertising industry, as a Financial Controller. Paying £80-90k and based in Central London with hybrid working, this role will have multi-national exposure and will manage a large team of qualified accountants in both the U.K. and abroad.
The Role
- Perform regular analysis comparing actual performance with planned targets and forecasts, highlighting key variances.
- Contribute to the development and review of monthly forecasts and financial plans.
- Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation of all intercompany balances.
- Provide financial insights to the leadership team, identifying risks and opportunities based on the monthly financial results.
- Offer finance support to operational teams, helping to streamline financial and operational processes while ensuring controls are in place to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure all tax filings are completed on schedule.
Your Profile
- Only candidates who are on short notice periods (1 month np) or who are immediately available are eligible to apply.
- You will be fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Prior experience in managing large teams is essential.
