Our client, the holding company of a dynamic international group with interests in the fruit and juice sectors, is seeking a highly qualified Financial Controller for its small head office based in Mayfair, London.
Description
- Assistance with cost analysis for group recharges and invoicing process.
- Reviewing expenses to ensure costs are charged to appropriate cost centres.
- VAT return processing and other statutory filings.
- Ongoing responsibility to review UK developments in tax and regulatory matters.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts.
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or recognised equivalent)
- Exposure to UK & International reporting standards
- excellent communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Excel.
- Knowledge of UK Company Law.
- Culturally sensitive and aware
- Proven ability to navigate a fast and changing work environment.
Other useful attributes:
- Experience of Oracle-based accounting systems.
- Industry Trained
- Foreign languages (particularly Portuguese)
