Part Time Financial Controller (number 1 in finance) - 2 days per week | London (predominantly remote working - 2 days per month office based) | £70,000 - £75,000 (full time equivalent)
The Opportunity
Agile and modern digital media & branding agency have an interesting and rewarding opportunity for a Part Time Financial Controller to join their team (circa 2 days per week).
As Financial Controller you will be the primary finance contact for the group - reporting to the MD / Founder. You’ll be an absolutely vital sounding board for the team and will be joining at an exciting juncture of investment and growth.
The role is predominantly remote working with 2 days per month in their modern offices in Central London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a creative, collaborative environment with a positive working culture amid interesting growth and project work as well as BAU.
The role will include:
- Management accounting / board pack prep and presentation
- Budgeting, forecasting and cash management
- MI and commercial insights around project profitability, cost trending, variances etc… the full train set for a growth SME.
This is a highly autonomous role, so the opportunity suits someone highly self-motivated. You need to be comfortable presenting financial info to a diverse non finance audience including key stakeholders / MD.
This is a permanent role - 2 days per week initially.
Required:
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA - completed professional qualification.
- Previous experience of managing the finance function of a modern and growing SME (ideally within an agency / marketing / creative arena).
- Ability to commit to a long-term, part-time assignment.
- Confidence when working with a high degree of autonomy.
- A hands-on approach to drilling down into the nitty gritty whilst also having the ability to 'zoom out’ and have strategic input.
This is a great part time role for an experienced and diligent Head of Finance / FC / FD.
