Your new companyAn award-winning architectural and design firm that excels in creating innovative and sustainable designs across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and public spaces. These firms are recognised for their exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and ability to deliver projects that enhance the built environment.Your new roleAs Financial Controller you will oversee the financial operations and management reporting requirements for our UK business, acting as the second-in-command to an experienced CFO and a trusted Business Partner to Senior Management and their teams.

  • Mentor and manage a team of direct reporters, helping them grow and build their careers.
  • Financial & Management Reporting, including signing off and presenting to the CFO. Oversee year-end and audit processes.
  • Take ownership of the forecasting processes, enabling senior management to understand business direction, profitability, and opportunities for growth.
  • Manage cash-flow models, ensuring senior management and project teams understand their pipeline and can mitigate risks.
  • Finance Business Partnering: Provide insight and analysis to project management and their teams, covering project costs and revenue, while managing relevant financial systems and processes.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified ACA/CA with PQE
  • Systems knowledge: CMap, Xero and Excel models
  • Industry experience with strong knowledge of Financial and Management reporting
  • Confidence to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and across all functions
  • An articulate and confident communicator
