Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are excited to be supporting our Client with their requirement for a Qualified Financial Controller. We are looking for someone who has experience working within a technology-driven industry, who has experienced periods of rapid-growth and who can help deliver the planned growth through financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working alongside the Senior Management Team to help realise the ambitious growth plans of the Company
- Provision of timely and accurate reporting and analysis
- Accountability for budgeting and forecasting
- Cash flow management
- Assessing the commercial potential of acquisitions and supporting with related activities
- Performance reporting and forecasting
- Management and development of a small finance team
- Statutory reporting, compliance with tax legislation and liaising with external accountants
Skills and Attributes required:
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified
- Excellent communication skills - confident liaising with Senior Management and Board Members
- A 'hands-on' approach to your work; close to the detail
- Experience of working within a private equity backed business (preferred)
