Our client is a leading supplier in the hospitality industry, providing high-quality catering equipment to a wide range of clients. They are seeking a Financial Controller to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. You will be based in their London office (SE postcode) 4 days a week with 1 day wfh.

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of their financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
  • Reporting: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop budgets and financial forecasts, report variances, and provide analysis to support decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage the finance team, providing leadership, direction, and training.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions and long-term financial planning.

Applicants should be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified with strong finance experience, including some experience as an FC.
