A fast-growing manufacturing business are looking for a Financial Controller role. This is a key role in a highly successful and continuously expanding business based in London. This person will run a dynamic team of finance professionals taking responsibility for financial controls, reporting and partnering to the business. This is a fantastic time to join a business in an exciting new growth phase which will include diversification and business acquisitions.
Duties:

Take the lead in initiating change in processes and systems implementation.

Performing month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing and coordinating and assigning duties to the accounting teams as needed.
- Preparation of variance analysis on both the Income Statement and Balance Sheet.

Evaluating departmental performance and making adjustments to daily operations when needed to ensure the department meets overall goals and objectives.
- Responsible for maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accurate and reliable information.
- Ensure the financial processes are robust, with appropriate controls and reconciliations.
- Management and timely closure of both internal and external audits.
- Proposing solutions to streamline current processes/activities.
- Overseeing and supporting the preparation and review of account reconciliations.
- Reviewing and approving Journal Entries.
- Partnering with the Business to accomplish key objectives and KPIs.
- Ensuring statutory filings and audits are completed timely.
- Completing of all tax returns, including but not limited to corporation tax, VAT returns and transfer pricing, working closely with external tax advisors and tax department.
Experience/Key attributes:

Proven experience in driving change and process improvements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience within a finance function, operating in a financial controller role

Ideally have experience within manufacturing or FMCG industries
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong influencing skills
- Excellent attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and quality
