The role requires a proactive and hands-on manager with previous management experience, specifically within the FMCG sector.
Key responsibilities include preparing management accounts, owning annual budgets, and business partnering with sales, marketing, and supply teams.
The ideal candidate should be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, as well as excellent communication skills.
This position also involves managing a team of four and driving the business forward through effective financial controls.

Financial Controller | FMCG | West London - Hybrid | c. £85,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing FMCG business. The business are seeking a proactive and hands-on Financial Controller. They need an experience manager to lead the Finance team, business partner with various teams and continue to drive the business forward.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for preparing the monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts

- Ownership of annual budgets and provide commentary on performance vs budget;

- Business Partner the sales, marketing and supply team; ensure reporting is adhered to

- Subject matter expert for auditors

- Manage a team of four

What we are looking for:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

- Previous management experience essential

- Experience within the FMCG space essential

- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

As a result of continued growth, this role requires an experienced Finance individual to build on financial controls, and continue to mentor their team.
