Are you an experienced Financial Controller with a passion for working in a dynamic, high-growth environment? We’re seeking a skilled finance professional to join our rapidly expanding team on a flexible, part-time basis (2-4 days per week). This role offers a competitive rate within the charity sector and a unique opportunity to drive financial growth and sustainability within a mission-driven organization. Over the past two years, our organization has doubled in size and this growth is set to continue. This requires a Financial Controller with a proactive and hands-on approach to day-to-day accounting operations and the adaptability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for producing monthly financial reports, optimizing financial systems and processes, liaising with external auditors, and overseeing the audit process. You’ll work closely with the CEO / COO and other department heads to provide financial insights and support, offer practical guidance and training to the finance team, and manage key areas including credit control, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also be the main point of contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and compliance with industry standards.
