An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller at a leading Media & PR agency. We are seeking an expert leader with the experience and flair to oversee all financial aspects of this renowned agency and play a critical role in its management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the firm’s finances, including setting and managing budgets within the group framework.
- Manage costs, overseeing invoicing and payments, and managing contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.
- Responsible for collections and managing aged debtors, crucial for maintaining financial health in the fast-moving media industry.
- Work closely with the senior team to improve the operations of the firm and the wider group, exploring new ways to enhance business efficiency or introduce new services and products.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or similar is essential.
- Proven track record of working in similar businesses, with roles that combine financial and commercial responsibilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours as required by the job.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to work well with the senior team.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial flair, with a keen eye for business development and innovation.
