Asset Management / Investment company based in the City of London is looking to bring on board a Financial Controller to join their small finance team of 5. You must have prior FC level / Senior level experience and be Qualified in ACA.

Description

Reporting directly to the company's Finance Director, part of a collaborative wider team, the Financial Controller will be responsible for the smooth operations of the finance department and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Daily accounting operations
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Taxation
  • Ensure compliance with statutory laws, regulations
  • Coordinate the Audit process
  • Lead, coach and develop the finance team
  • Conduct regular 1-2-1s
  • Budgets and forecasts
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and risks.
  • Coordinate the management of cash flow, debt and debt collection
  • Support the Finance Director in presenting reports to senior leadership and the board.

Profile

  • ACA Qualification (approx 3-4 PQE)
  • Experience in a medium sized business
  • Ability to think critically and draw conclusions from data analysis
  • Ability to work flexibly between in detail and at a higher level
  • Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High Proficiency on Excel and complex Accounting systems
