With revenues already upwards of c. £150m and continued growth projected in the coming years, this exciting role offers significant routes for progression and long-term development.

Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management: Calculate and post monthly journals, ensuring timely and precise balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing comprehensive monthly management accounts and financial reports, delivering key insights for stakeholders.
  • Shareholder Communication: Collaborate in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for shareholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
  • VAT Compliance: Oversee quarterly VAT returns, submissions to HMRC, and annual adjustments for partial-rated VAT percentages. Handle ad-hoc VAT queries with confidence.
  • Audit Leadership: Lead audit-related workstreams, responding to queries for internal and external audits (including SOX and tax) while embedding and enhancing financial controls.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of two in Accounts Payable, fostering growth and ensuring smooth operations.

Candidates for the Financial Reporting Accountant will be:

  • ACA Qualified Accountant.
  • Practice-trained from Big 4 or Top 10.
  • Have IFRS knowledge; US GAAP knowledge is desirable.

Salary & Package:

  • £60,000 - £65,000.
