Financial Reporting Accountant Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Calculate and post monthly journals, ensuring timely and precise balance sheet reconciliations.
- Reporting: Assist in preparing comprehensive monthly management accounts and financial reports, delivering key insights for stakeholders.
- Shareholder Communication: Collaborate in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for shareholders, ensuring clarity and transparency.
- VAT Compliance: Oversee quarterly VAT returns, submissions to HMRC, and annual adjustments for partial-rated VAT percentages. Handle ad-hoc VAT queries with confidence.
- Audit Leadership: Lead audit-related workstreams, responding to queries for internal and external audits (including SOX and tax) while embedding and enhancing financial controls.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of two in Accounts Payable, fostering growth and ensuring smooth operations.
Candidates for the Financial Reporting Accountant will be:
- ACA Qualified Accountant.
- Practice-trained from Big 4 or Top 10.
- Have IFRS knowledge; US GAAP knowledge is desirable.
Salary & Package:
- £60,000 - £65,000.
