An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Accountant in London. This role will oversee the coordination and accuracy of the Group's internal financial reporting during the Outlook and Budget process.

As the Financial Reporting Accountant, your role will be pivotal in overseeing the coordination and accuracy of internal financial reporting. You will contribute significantly to external reporting at interim and year-end periods while managing net debt analysis, key financial disclosures, and technical accounting matters.

The key remits to the role will include;

  • Oversee the coordination and accuracy of the Group's internal financial reporting during the Outlook and Budget process.
  • Contribute to external reporting at Interim and Year end.
  • Manage net debt analysis, key financial disclosures, and technical accounting matters.
  • Ensure all Financial reporting metrics and areas of the internal management accounts are completed to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure that transactions and structural changes in the group are appropriately forecast.
  • Responsible for producing and maintaining the Group Viability Statement on an annual basis.

You will be.

  • Qualified accountant - ACA or equivalent with 3-5 years post qualified experience
  • Experience of delivering Group consolidations and plc interim and year end reporting.
  • Proven experience in a financial consolidation and reporting role in a large multinational company.
  • Experience in Preparation or Review of financial accounts.
  • Understanding of complex technical accounting issues and good knowledge of IFRS.
  • Demonstrate strong proven analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • HFM Knowledge beneficial
