International insurance broker seeks to strengthen its Claims Preparation Division through the appointment of a Forensic Accountant to work alongside the Divisional Director and one other.

  • Your primary focus will be on calculating complex business interruption claims, challenging insurers, loss adjusters and experts to ensure that your clients achieve the best possible outcomes, understanding/interpreting Property Damage/BI policy language and coverage and supporting the Regional Claims Teams with advice and training on technical issues principally associated with BI.

About you:

  • Candidates must essentially have a formal accountancy background and qualification through ACA/ACCA along with a minimum of 5-10 years in an insurance claims environment.
  • You will preferably have worked for a loss adjusting practice, but our client would be happy to consider candidates with relevant skills in other areas.
  • You will be home-based and can live anywhere within the UK but must be prepared to spend time in London for which our client will pay all associated costs.

Salary and Benefits:

Budget up to £85,000 plus bonus potentially worth up to £15,000 annually, car allowance (£7,500), pension, medical care and 25 days holiday.
