(Fractional) Financial ControllerLocation: London (Hybrid)Commitment: Part-time/Fractional (Initially 2-3 days/month, increasing over time)Sector: Private Investment & Strategic AdvisoryThis is a hands-on and commercially focused role, responsible for building the finance function and supporting the firm’s growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in private equity, family offices, boutique investment firms, or similar small, high-impact structures.Key Responsibilities:Financial Oversight & Reporting• Oversee all aspects of the finance function, including Management Accounts, month-end close, and reporting• P&L statements• VAT submissions• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgets, and VAT calculations/filings• Preparation of year-end financial statements• Maintain and review key Balance Sheet reconciliations and coordinate statutory filings• Liaison with external accountants, lawyers, insurances etc. to ensure compliance• Manage accounts receivable/payable including invoicing• Process expenses• Process payroll• Implement and refine financial processes, including client annual regulatory fee managementStrategic & Business Support• Support commercial contract negotiations and liaise with financial regulators• Assist in SPV structuring and financial modelling• Provide strategic financial insights• Liaise with directors of client companies, ensuring clear financial oversight and guidanceKey Skills/Requirements:• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA) with 8 years post-qualification experience• Background in private equity, family offices, boutique investment firms, or similar environments• Strong understanding of financial modelling, compliance, and regulatory requirements• Experience working in lean, high-growth environments with broad financial oversight• Entrepreneurial mindset – adaptable, commercially sharp and reliableREF: PM87688Tiger is B Corp Certified.
