This newly created Fund Accountant role for a rapidly growing Private Equityfirm paying £60,000 to £65,000 depending on experience with a Discretionary bonus, based in the heart of the London
Role
This Fund Accountant will help the Firm scale the finance function, put new processes in place and refine existing ones. This role will work closely with the CFO to put in providing support for a growing team. Please find a brief outline of the role below.
- Supporting with the accounting of the investment vehicles as prepared by service providers:
- Support the audit of the Funds in the Cayman Islands, Malta and Luxembourg
- Support the audit of the corporate UK and Guernsey based entities
- Review of quarterly NAVs and investor statements
- Review of financial statements
- Management fee calculations
- Reviewing distribution calculations
- Develop a knowledge of taxation and compliance requirements across jurisdictions, showing initiative on maintaining efficient structures
- Compliance reporting and regulatory filings
- Respond to investor queries about their holdings, performance, distributions and other ad-hoc questions in a timely manner
- Support with newsletter drafting & ad-hoc investor reports/requests
- Contributing to quarterly Board calls with international Directors and advisors
- General oversight of internal controls and financial risk management
Profile
The Fund Accountant for this Private Equity is ideally for the below
- A Newly Qualified Fund Accountant from Industry (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
- Will also look at someone from an Audit Background as long they have audited Funds
- Someone's who's had exposure with Private Equity fund (however very open)

The Fund Accountant will report into a hugely impressive head of CFO who is keen to develop people within the team and prides on promoting from within. The Private Equity business is starting to launch their 3rd new fund which is why this role has come up. The business currently has a headcount of 28 people and looking to grow to over 75 towards to end of year.
Salary & Benefits
Salary is bench marked £60,000 to £65,000 on experience.
