Our client, a leading global financial services firm, is seeking a highly skilled Private Debt Fund Control Specialist to join their dynamic team in London. What you'll do:

As a Private Debt Fund Control Specialist, your role will be pivotal in supporting the growth of our client's European Direct Lending business. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing various fund strategies, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting deal closing processes, maintaining internal dashboards, preparing necessary reports, and assisting with the reporting life cycle of the fund. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting new product launches, incorporating new funds into existing controls, and working closely with Fund Administrators to establish effective operating models.

  • Implement and oversee the Fund's liquidity and hedging strategies
  • Ensure the Fund's are managed in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Support the deal closing process including completion of pre-investment guideline checks
  • Maintain the internal Fund / Platform dashboard and liquidity waterfall
  • Prepare reports as required by the business for both the fund and the platform
  • Assist with reporting life cycle of the fund including preparation and review of Fund financials and NAV
  • Support new product launches including incorporating new funds into existing controls and processes
  • Work closely with Fund Administrators to put in place operating models

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Private Debt Fund Control Specialist role brings proven experience as a fund accounting or fund controller on Private Debt Funds. You hold an Accounting Qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Your pre-existing knowledge of debt products will be invaluable in this role. You have demonstrated ability to implement and oversee fund strategies, support deal closing processes, maintain internal dashboards, prepare necessary reports, assist with the reporting life cycle of funds, support new product launches, and incorporate new funds into existing controls.

  • Proven experience as a fund accounting / fund controller on Private Debt Funds
