Altum Consulting are recruiting for a Group Accountant to join a growing private equity backed Technology business based in central London. This role will suit a Qualified Accountant who has experience in financial reporting and consolidation, analysis, process formalisation and external reviews.

Role:

  • Drive continuous process improvement in all areas of consolidated financial reporting, with a focus on efficiency and automation.
  • Review results submitted by the Group's subsidiaries and work with the region and entity financial controllers/managers and the shared service centre to understand, correct and explain irregularities to ensure integrity and accuracy.
  • Review intra group balances and transactions to ensure they eliminate on consolidation
  • Prepare and load consolidation journals and eliminations
  • Prepare schedules and disclosure notes for the Group's quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS.
  • Prepare internal financial reports and reporting to private equity owners and bond holders.
  • Perform variance analysis and provide commentaries for senior management and for audit analytical reviews.
  • Assist in the preparation of working papers for the external auditors.

You'll be/have:

  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA/CA/ACCA) with post qualified experience in a similar industry role.
  • Experience in a group finance environment, specifically in group consolidations with a multicurrency context.
  • Experience in preparing group consolidated statutory accounts, individual entity accounts and disclosure notes.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, including providing accounting solutions to complex issues.
  • Experience working closely with external Big 4 auditors for interim and annual audits.
