A global FTSE listed international organisation headquartered in the heart of London is looking for a proactive and analyticalGroup Accountantto join their dynamic team.

As the business embarks on an exciting expansion journey, this position requires a strong business partner who can collaborate with senior stakeholders across departments, including Audit, ESG Investor Relations (IR), and IT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the consolidation of group accounts across multiple international entities, ensuring precision and compliance with IFRS standards.
- Work closely with the technical accounting team, staying ahead of evolving financial regulations and providing guidance on complex accounting matters.
- Conduct monthly KPI analysis, prepare the annual budget, and develop 5-year strategic plans, collaborating closely with the ESG team on various models.
- Prepare and present high-quality financial reports to senior management and stakeholders, offering actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Business Partner with cross-functional global teams to enhance financial processes and controls across the organisation.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Prior experience in an audit firm is essential; post-qualified experience in a listed business is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS including IFRS 16 and IFRS 9
- Experience in managing group consolidations in a multinational environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with consolidation tools ideal

This role is also available on a 6-month FTC for immediate / short-notice candidates and can go temp to perm (salary negotiable for this).
