Leading Natural Resources business is looking to recruit a Group Accountant on a contract basis. Based in London, the role will report to the Group Reporting Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing technical accounting papers
- Preparing monthly Group consolidation with relevant analysis
- Preparing quarterly external reporting releases
- Delivering consolidated forecast and budget information for various departments
- Liaising with external auditors
- Driving continual improvement of Group reporting processes
- Ad hoc tasks as required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant with strong group consolidations experience
- Listed company technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence various stakeholders
- Team player with proactive approach and ability to solve problems
- Advanced IT skills ideally working knowledge of HFM
