Group Accountant - 3-6 Months Contract | Up to £75k-£80k | Central London | Hybrid WorkingThis is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a growing and dynamic business, offering up to £75k-£80k, along with hybrid working arrangements in a Central London office.Key Responsibilities:* Preparation of consolidated financial accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.* Managing monthly close procedures and ensuring timely submission of VAT returns for all entities.* Supporting year-end audit processes and liaising with external auditors.* Preparing monthly and quarterly reporting packs.* Maintaining fixed asset registers and overseeing capital expenditure authorisation.* Ensuring compliance with tax regulations (VAT, CT, PAYE & NIC, CIS) and assisting with reconciliations.* Production of consolidated forecasts, quarterly and annual budgets.* Providing support for financial processes, ensuring robust controls are in place.What You'll Bring:* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent).* Strong financial accounting experience, with a focus on balance sheet preparation.* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).* Experience with financial control and audit requirements.* Familiarity with COINS ERP and IRIS accounts production is a plus.* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines.* Excellent communication skills, with a proactive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.What You Can Expect:* A supportive, close-knit team that values collaboration and shared success.* Hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office).* A culture that encourages professional growth, curiosity, and a proactive approach.* Opportunities to further develop your skills in a fast-paced, diverse environment.Vitae Financial Recruitment Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
