Group Financial Accountant | Temp to Perm | £55,000 - £62,000 + package | London/Hybrid

We are seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join a dynamic international business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant to work in a fast-paced and evolving finance environment. If you have strong technical expertise, excellent attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative setting, this role could be for you.

As a Group Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure financial integrity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage statutory financial statements for the Group, UK subsidiaries, and associated entities
  • Support the year-end audit process, ensuring timely completion
  • Oversee financial control frameworks and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
  • Prepare and present monthly Group balance sheet reports to senior finance leadership
  • Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and oversee key financial transactions
  • Manage month-end tasks including intercompany settlements
  • Coordinate international financial reporting
  • Support financial projects

Key Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA fully qualified accountant
  • Experience in multi-currency group consolidation and financial statement prep
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP
  • Experience producing statutory accounts and working with auditors
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
