Group Financial Accountant

£55,000 - 60,000 + bonus up to 15%

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present the monthly consolidated balance sheet report to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of statutory financial statements for the Group, UK subsidiaries, designated trusts, and other relevant entities.
  • Assist in managing the year-end audit process by coordinating audit requests and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial data, analysis, and insights to key stakeholders, including senior finance leaders.
  • Maintain and enforce strong financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance across all processes.
  • Manage month-end tasks, including accounting entries, intercompany balance settlements, and turnover certifications.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely submission of financial reports from international subsidiaries, collaborating with external service providers and handling multi-currency transactions.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial projects, such as international expansion, new business ventures, and entity setup.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Experience in multi-currency group consolidations.
  • Proven experience in preparing statutory financial statements.
  • Experience of producing statutory accounts.
  • Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Solid understanding of UK GAAP (FRS 102).
