Group Financial Accountant - £60,000 - £65,000 - Housing - Central London - ACCA/CIMA/ACA - Hybrid Working + Benefits

IN2 Consult are partnering with a progressive Not for Profit Housing Association based in Central London on their recruitment of a Group Financial Accountant to join their sizable finance team.

This role will play a key part in contributing towards the business' success, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and production of high quality financial reports. This role offers generous holiday allowance amongst other fantastic benefits.

The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in Housing or within a Not for Profit business.

This Group Financial Accountant role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate financial reports and analysis to senior stakeholders, providing clear insights.
  • Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and conduct monthly trial balance reviews to ensure financial integrity.
  • Prepare statutory accounts for the group's subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with FRS102 / UK GAAP and industry best practices.
  • Manage audit working papers and coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely year-end processes.
  • Collaborate with the wider finance team to strengthen financial controls and drive continuous process improvements for the business.
  • Maintain and update financial systems, including the chart of accounts and regulatory reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate for this Group Financial Accountant role will have the following experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
  • Prior experience within Housing or Not for Profit sectors
  • Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements
  • Prior knowledge of audit processes
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
