Butler Rose are delighted to be partnered with a forward thinking and growing PE backed business who are seeking a Group Financial Controller with FP&A experience to join them. You'll lead a talented team across the UK and internationally, balancing day-to-day management of the finance function with involvement in strategic projects. This role combines operational oversight with a hands-on approach, making it perfect for a proactive individual ready to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly board packs
- Inter-company and consolidation accounting
- Financial analysis and modelling
- Evaluate new business cases
- Develop and maintain cash flow models
- Collaborate with group company SLT
- Report to external stakeholders
- Budgeting and FP&A
- Manage a team of 10, including ongoing training and day to day support
This position is ideal for a hands-on, versatile professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You won't just oversee operations; you'll actively contribute to the team's success, mucking in where needed to ensure completion of necessary tasks.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a fully qualified, personable, confident leader, with strong communication skills, a calm demeanor under pressure, and a great sense of humor.
Essential requirements:
- Full ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification
- Strong expertise in reporting tools, including reporting cubes.
- Proven experience managing a team of 10 within a group structure
- Previous experience as a Senior Finance Manager, FP&A Manager or Financial Controller within a £100m+ T/O business.
