Reporting directly to the Group Chief Operating Officer as part of the small finance team the role will focus on the upgrading and implementation of efficient and robust financial processes and asset analysis and reporting.

Description

  • To deliver strategic and insightful commercial analysis and improve regular KPI reporting;
  • Investor reporting and the creation of budgets and forecasts for operating and development properties;
  • Strong cash flow management skills and reporting, including rolling forecasts for the Group;
  • To continually identify areas for revenue growth and cost efficiencies/improvement;
  • Supervise, manage and mentor the finance department;
  • Support the Finance Manager in improving and managing the month-end reporting process to meet the requirements of a growing Company;
  • Work with the Finance Manager to implement a reconciliation process between the Property Management System and the Accounts system;
  • Implement a robust recharge process across the different Departments and Group Companies;
  • Oversight of all statutory and tax reporting;
  • Support Head of Investments with refinancing of properties;
  • To build strong relationships with JV partners, banks, auditors, insurance brokers, legal and tax advisors;
  • Work with Development Manager to ensure appropriate insurances in place for business; and
  • Financial support and analysis to all areas of the business, as required.

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 5+ years PQE
  • Experience of working in an SME a preference with strong commercial acumen;
  • Confident communicator and gravitas to influence decision making by Leadership Team;
  • Experience of an external audit;
  • You will have experience of working within the property sector;
  • Is highly motivated, detailed and diligent;
  • Copes well with pressure and changes to working environment;
  • A positive attitude to changes and implements changes where necessary;
  • Prepared to work in challenging and demanding situations, which may be beyond normal areas of responsibility.
