Seeks an experienced qualified Group Financial Controller to work closely with the CFO and lead the group's financial accounting and consolidations processes from the UK head office, overseeing reporting from the US, Europe, Asia and South America.
Your analytical and technical ability will be key to driving operational efficiency and supporting the Board's strategic decision-making as the company expands.Requirements:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- At least 5 years' international group consolidation experience or as senior financial controller
- In-depth technical knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics etc).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with credibility at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced international environment.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this Group Financial Controller role will include:
- Lead and the group's financial consolidation process, in accordance with IFRS/GAAP and local regulations, coordinating the accounting operations across multiple countries and subsidiaries.
- Coordinate the monthly, quarterly and annual intercompany and group reporting, whilst developing effective controls and reporting procedures across the group.
- Provide high-level support to the CFO and senior management delivering informative financial reports, variance analyses and consolidation updates.
- Provide day to day finance support for the smaller international subsidiaries being their main point of contact within the head office.
- Support external auditors during audits and ensure smooth and timely completion of audits, as well as the preparation of all necessary audit documentation.
- Management of the UK finance team, providing mentorship and training on financial reporting and consolidation matters.
- Maintain and improve the group's accounting systems and processes, driving automation and efficiency in consolidation workflows.
- Oversee tax compliance and reporting for international operations, ensuring proper reporting and minimizing the tax impact across the group.
- Monitor and assess cross-border currency fluctuations, transfer pricing and other financial risks associated with international operations, together with tax compliance, minimizing the tax impact.
- Stay up to date with changes in international accounting standards and best practices, ensuring that the group's accounting practices remain compliant and effective.
