- Financial Reporting:

- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results to the board and stakeholders.
- Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct variance analysis and prepare detailed reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the business operates efficiently and sustainably.
- Develop and implement cash flow forecasting models.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Set clear performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee audit processes.
- Strategic Support:
- Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating investment opportunities and potential acquisitions.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the retail sector.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
