Stanton House is working exclusively with a PE-backed B2B SaaS services business who are looking for a GFC to lead their London HQ. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of a fast-growing tech company. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a team of finance professionals, ensuring financial stability, compliance, and strategic growth. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of financial operations within a dynamic and expanding global organisation.
The ideal candidate will be able to build relationships with senior stakeholders and have ambition to step up into the CFO role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, tax, audit, monthly reporting, investor relations, and payroll across multiple regions. Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering collaboration across functions to align with company goals.
- Own the monthly financial reporting process, providing valuable insights to management and quarterly updates to investors. Support budget cycles, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
- Enhance financial systems and processes, optimising recent migrations and implementing continuous improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to fundraising and debt financing initiatives, supporting the company's growth and financial stability.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.
- Proven experience in a financial controller or similar role, ideally within B2B SaaS.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and high-performance culture.
- Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience supporting international expansion and managing multi-geography financial operations.
