Communicate are supporting a large Tech/Api solutions business in their search for a Group Financial Reporting Accountant. This role will report to the Head of Reporting and Controls and offers the successful candidate a uniquely broad scope and exposure to a range of senior stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing a small team; leading and supporting their development.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the internal and external reporting processes
  • Prepare the company’s monthly reporting and annual statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP
  • Lead the Group consolidation process
  • Manage a small team; supporting their development
  • Support the FP&A team in assisting with budgets and forecasts including variance analysis and 5-year plan
  • Liaising with the auditors and answering queries

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA) with 2-3 years PQE
  • Audit background (Top 10)
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP; experience of a group consolidation
  • Ideally experience of the Real Estate industry or an interest in
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a 'nice to have’)
