We have an exciting opportunity for someone smart, hardworking, and eager to learn to join our clients fast-paced company as a "Group Management Accountant."

What We're Looking For:

We need someone who has started studying ACCA, CIMA, or ACA and wants to continue studying to become fully qualified. We'll provide support for your studies and give you lots of experience in accounting and finance.

The right person will be well-organised, able to handle different tasks, and know how to prioritize their work. This is a key role, and you'll report to the Group Finance Manager and work closely with the business leadership team. Besides your usual tasks, you'll also help with special projects.

This role is perfect if you're looking to grow your career in accounting and finance while gaining valuable experience and support.

What You’ll Do:

Sales Ledger

  • Create sales invoices and credit notes
  • Keep track of customer accounts and payments
  • Process payments and communicate with customers

Purchase Ledger

  • Handle purchase invoices and expenses
  • Manage bills for properties and utilities
  • Process supplier payments and handle any questions from them

Inventory

  • Keep inventory records up to date
  • Reconcile inventory costs and income
  • Manage deposits received and paid out

Banking

  • Set up payments for approval
  • Handle bank transactions and reconcile accounts

VAT

  • Help with VAT preparation for five companies
  • Post VAT entries every quarter

Ad-hoc Tasks

  • Respond to requests from the business and finance team
  • Help with additional tasks as needed

Balance Sheet

  • Reconcile balances between companies and balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain records of accruals and prepayments
Skills You’ll Need:
  • Good with numbers and well-organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in a finance team
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Xero
  • Part-qualified in ACCA/CIMA or even Qualified by Experience
