About the Client:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert financial advice on complex accounting and budgeting matters, ensuring robust financial controls and the safeguarding of public money.
  • Support the Executive Committee and Board by providing high-quality financial information and advice to inform decision-making.
  • Champion best practices in financial reporting and ensure sound financial management across the organisation.

  • Extensive experience in external financial reporting to key stakeholders such as HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to develop and manage a high-performing finance team.
  • Expertise in providing technical financial advice on complex matters, with a focus on governance and compliance.
  • A thorough understanding of managing audit processes and external relationships with bodies like NAO and GIAA.
