A FTSE 250 plc with a head office in central London is recruiting a Head of Internal Audit on an initial 8 month fixed term contract to start as soon as possible.Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit and managing a team of Internal Auditors, the key deliverables of the role include:-
  • Lead the Internal Audit team and manage the delivery of audits across the business.
  • Agree scope of work for audits with management that address key risks and controls to be reviewed.
  • Ensure audits are conducted on time and in accordance with the audit plan.
  • Present and discuss identified issues and risks and provide recommendations for improvements as well as ensuring remediation action plans are implemented and monitored.
  • Management and development of the team.
