Sonic Summary

The position involves supporting the Pensions, Treasury, and Statutory Accounts team in preparation for the year-end closing for 2024/25, including interim audit and the production of the Statement of Accounts.
The role reports to the Chief Accountant (Statutory Accounts) and the Pensions Finance Manager (Pensions).
This is a minimum six-month assignment.
The ideal candidate should be a fully qualified accountant with experience in financial reporting and year-end closing in a local government setting.

To support the Pensions, Treasury and Statutory Accounts team with preparation for year end closing 2024/25 including interim audit and production of the Statement of Accounts. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working in financial reporting and year end closing within local government.
