Immediate Start Temporary Group Financial Reporting Accountant
This is a new role created due to expansion in the existing finance team, expansion in the size of the group and projected further expansion of the group.
Main Responsibilities:
To provide effective, accurate and timely financial reporting along with appropriate recommendations to enable the company to make strategic and informed decisions. This role will provide critical decision support, insightful business planning, tight financial cost and overhead control along with effective working capital management.
To aid, if required, in the day-to-day management of the group's finance function, providing support and information to the Group Financial Controller and the rest of the Executive Management Team.
Criteria requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with up to date CPD
- Experience of financial reporting with good knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and UK GAAP.
- Experience of working in an Auditing practice.
- Experience of building and maintaining relationships with external parties e.g. auditors, clients, advisors and customers.
- Experience of staff line management and development
- Excellent and practical Excel skills (vlook-ups, pivot tables, if statements etc.)
The post holder must be diligent and have a pro-active nature. They will also have collaborative nature and able to understand and incorporate others' perspectives. The post holder will be proficient with a range of IT and finance systems and software and have excellent communication skills across all levels. They will be adaptable, flexible, energetic and enthusiastic individual with proven ability to deliver against a backdrop of competing priorities.
