We are looking for a VAT Analyst to join a global lifestyle brand specialising in footwear and clothing, known for its innovation and collaboration. This is a fast-paced, international role where your expertise will help shape strategic tax decisions, initially on a 12-month FTC.
The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Analyst to join our client's dynamic Tax team. You will be responsible for supporting indirect tax compliance and planning, working closely with senior management to identify VAT impacts of internal business initiatives and restructuring.
This international role is pivotal to both indirect and direct tax compliance and planning. You'll collaborate with the U.S. team on local and state taxes and serve as the primary contact for all Italian tax, indirect tax, and transfer pricing queries from government authorities.
Additionally, you'll help streamline tax processes, provide insights on tax impacts of business initiatives, and participate in projects to automate and migrate tax processes onto Onesource.
About YouWe're seeking a highly skilled VAT Analyst with:
- Qualified Accountant/Tax Advisor (ACCA, ACA, CTA, or equivalent) - part-qualified considered based on experience.
- Experience in public accounting, multinational tax departments, or large accountancy firms, preferably in an international environment.
- Knowledge of Essbase and Onesource Tax Provision (preferred).
