Morgan McKinley are seeking an experienced All-Round Interim Accountant to join a leading international retail business on a 6-month contract.

You will be responsible for managing key aspects of the month-end process, accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet, while adding value to the FP&A team.

This role is paying £45,000 - £50,000 doe with hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage month-end accounting processes, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Handle balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Support Victor in overseeing all EMEA general ledger transactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the FP&A team, contributing insights and value-added support.
  • Accurately manage and process accruals in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and assist with process improvements where necessary.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with month-end accounting processes, reconciliations, and balance sheet management.
  • Ability to handle accruals accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Open to candidates who are either fully qualified or part-qualified accountants.
  • A proactive approach to adding value to the FP&A team.
  • Previous experience in retail or international businesses is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams and time zones.
