We are currently working with a progressive London based charity looking for a Year-End Accountant to support their finance team through year-end preparations. The organisation is a large and respected entity in the Not For Profit and sector, however the role will be based fully remotely.
Description
- Prepare and finalise year-end accounts in compliance with relevant legal and statutory requirements.
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors, ensuring all required documentation is available.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Support the finance team in daily operational tasks.
- Comply with all applicable regulations and uphold the organisation's financial integrity.
Profile
A successful Year End Accountant/Financial Accountant should have:
- A strong educational background in Accounting & Finance.
- MUST BE FULLY QUALIFIED (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office.

- Restricted funds
- Experience of a similar role for another Not for Profit.
- A firm grasp of accounting principles and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
