About the client
Morgan Law is seeking an Interim Finance Officer for a charity in central London.
Main Duties
- Process invoices by checking, scanning, and accurately inputting them into the Purchase Order system within two days of receipt
- Coordinate with the Finance Assistant to ensure deadlines are met
- Manage internal and external purchase ledger communications
- Verify invoice coding and ensure VAT is applied correctly
- Identify and separate invoices for the subsidiary Trading Company, ensuring correct posting
- Reconcile supplier statements and ensure timely processing of outstanding invoices
Candidate Requirements
- Seen to be working towards a qualification
- Experience in either the public or not for profit sectors
- Experience of using a Financial enterprise system
- An ability to effectively navigate different systems and sources of data to make meaningful and timely reports with relevant commentary
- Experience with year end and audit processes (E)
