Interim Financial Accountant | Fast Growth PE Backed Agency | 6 Month Contract
Harmonic is delighted to be working exclusively with a global management consultancy who are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join on a 6 month contract basis. This role will likely sit Outside IR35.
The Client
Turning over £50m with a £8m EBITDA the business has grown from strength to strength in recent years and they are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant who can lead on delivering a successful audit.
Employing over 200 people in the UK and North America across seven offices, with headquarters in London, they connect best-in-class capabilities to achieve success across therapeutic categories and all phases of brand development. It offers bespoke programmes in communications, creative and brand strategy, compliance, and insights.
Currently backed by top-tier investors, they are in a phase of rapid international expansion and Series B growth. They are renowned for their dynamic and collaborative culture, this role will be hybrid with 2 days in their Central London office and 3 days working from home.
The Role
Reporting directly into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth audit process, leading on ad-hoc year end projects and preparing consolidated accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Audit efficiently, working with the internal finance team and external auditors
- Drive efficiencies and streamline internal processes
- Prepare consolidated multi-currency accounts (USD/GBP)
- Business partner with internal finance team on audit deliverables
- Year-end project based work, e.g. P11D
- Ad-hoc projects to support the Finance Director & CFO
What we need to see (essential)
- ACA (or variations) or ACCA Qualified with at least 1 year of industry experience
- Strong Financial Accounting skills
- Excellent communication skills
What we'd like to see (bonus)
- Professional Services, Communications or Agency sector background
Contract Length: 3 months with potential to extend or transition to a permanent role.
Day Rate: £350-425 (Outside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid/Remote
