Altum Consulting are partnering with a global Technology business to recruit an interim Financial Accountant for an initial 3-month period. This role will suit a Qualified Accountant who will take responsibility for monthly reporting and work closely with auditors to ensure statutory requirements are met. Applying contractors must be able to start from January 2025.

Role:

  • Report on each month end, post journals and work with outside teams on finalisation of the management accounts.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis of P&L.
  • Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations, resolving variances and identifying issues.
  • Work with the auditors throughout the year to fulfil their requests and answer their queries.
  • Keep on top of local statutory requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Liaise with the wider reporting team on processes performed at a group level and take responsibility for specific processes as required.

You'll be/have:

  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced, frequently changing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and an awareness of the importance of deadlines.
  • Available to start in January 2025
