We are looking for a Financial Accountant with a strong interest in the Not For Profit sector to join our accounting and finance team.
The role is with a well-respected not-for-profit organization based in London and will last for 3-6 months.
Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day financial operations, preparing financial reports, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting.
Candidates should have an Accountancy qualification and at least 3 years of relevant experience, along with strong analytical and communication skills.
The position offers a competitive salary range of £250-280 per day and allows for hybrid working with 2 days in the office.

Our client is a well-respected not-for-profit organisation, based in London, looking for support over the next 3-6 months.

Description

Manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure financial integrity
Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders
Collaborate with the wider accounting & finance team to achieve financial objectives
Implement financial policies and procedures
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk management
Liaise with external auditors and manage internal controls
Support grant and contract management
Comply with all financial regulations and standards

Profile

An Accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Proficiency in accounting software
Exceptional financial management skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
An interest in the not-for-profit sector
Knowledge of financial regulations and standards

A competitive salary range of £250-280pd
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office in central London
