I am working with a North London-based not-for-profit organisation that is dedicated to providing safe and affordable homes to local residents. This organisation has a significant local impact, and they are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join their team for a 6-month contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing intercompany reconciliations and leading quarterly VAT and CIS returns.
- Managing a small team of three junior accountants, reviewing and signing off their journals and reconciliations.
- Leading the trial balancing process at month-end.
- Overseeing bank, balance sheet, and payroll reconciliations, as well as general ledger maintenance.
This role is based in the North London office twice per week, offering a great opportunity to work in a purpose-driven environment while supporting the ongoing financial operations of the organisation.
To be considered, please meet the following criteria:
- Minimum part-qualified accountant (AAT or equivalent).
- Experience managing a small team and reviewing their work.
- Strong knowledge of VAT, CIS, and intercompany accounting.
- Proven ability to perform detailed reconciliations and manage month-end processes.
