Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small finance team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Take ownership of budgeting and forecasting, providing key financial insights.
- Oversee year-end submissions and manage the external audit process.
- Ensure all statutory reporting requirements to relevant bodies are completed accurately and on time.
The successful candidate:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Higher Education sector experience is essential.
- Proven team management skills with a hands-on leadership approach.
- Strong statutory accounting experience, including audit and financial reporting.
